At ProductMix, we know your public product portal is one of the best ways to build in public, show transparency, and involve your customers in the journey. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce a refreshed experience with brand-new layout options and enhancements to our website widget!
What’s New in the Product Portal? #
Two New Layouts — Tailored for Your Workflow #
You can now choose between two fresh layouts for your product portal:
List View: #
A clean, straightforward layout that organizes your roadmap items in a linear list—great for quick scanning and simpler navigation.
Kanban / Swimlane View #
A visually rich board-style layout that displays roadmap stages in columns. Perfect for teams (and users!) who love tracking progress in a more dynamic, agile way.
And don’t worry—the original legacy layout isn’t going anywhere. We’ve carried it forward with a few minor adjustments to fit our upgraded UX framework, so everything still feels familiar.
Revamped Website Widget Styles #
Want to embed ProductMix into your site? You’ll now have access to a new Website Widget style to show off your roadmap, collect ideas, or share announcements—all from your own website.
Just like with the portal, the legacy widget style is still available but may look slightly different due to changes under the hood.
What Do You Need to Do? #
If you have an existing account at the time of the rollout – there’s nothing that you need to do. Your existing setup stays exactly as it is, with the legacy / classic layout and widget enabled by default. But if you’re curious, you can explore the new layouts and toggle between them anytime in your settings.
This update is just one more way we’re making it easier for you to connect with your users, stay transparent, and build better products together.

Portal Layouts – You can find the new Portal Layouts in your Portal Settings here: https://app.productmix.com/product-settings/portals

New Widget Design is shown below:
Choosing Design 2 (Legacy) will show your previous features and modification options. We are keeping the existing design as it is and introduced an updated and easier widget UI.
